Xbox Changes It Up

Xbox Changes It Up

Xbox changes are coming hard and fast at the moment. Microsoft has announced an Xbox One packaged without the Kinect, and it is at a lower price of $USD399. The Australian price for this Kinect-less Xbox One is $AUD499 but won’t be available until June 9th. Will this make a major difference for the Xbox One in the never-ending

Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends

The Rayman franchise just goes from strength to strength with its titles and whilst it may suffer the syndrome of not really changing that much in the way of mechanics or levels, I really don’t think the kids will mind that much. Rayman Legends is the first title for the Rayman franchise on the Xbox One & Playstation 4 consoles and there is a noticeable difference in the graphic style. Whilst the game stays true to its roots there a few noticeable and really fun additions to the game also.

Standby For Titanfall

Standby For Titanfall

With Titanfall released in North America and due out tomorrow in Australia,Microsoft are secretly holding their breath in anticipation that Titanfall’s release will boost sales for the Xbox One. With Playstation boasting their 6 million plus sales of the PS4; Microsoft have remained quiet about the sales of their Xbox One. After successful Titanfall beta, I believe

Ryse: Son of Rome – Review

Ryse: Son of Rome – Review

Ryse does a good job of scratching the itch to play as a Roman soldier, but it does little to maintain the momentum it starts with at the beginning.  Ryse is a game that was announced a couple of years back at E3 as a Kinect game. Then, like other Kinect games it disappeared from the

Need for Speed: Rivals

Need for Speed: Rivals

With another title being added to the already expansive list of EA’s Need for Speed franchise, you could be forgiven for thinking Need for Speed Rivals will be another chip off the old block. However Rivals is the first driving game in a while that really excites me. The Need for Speed franchise really captures

You and the Kinect 2.0

You and the Kinect 2.0

With Xbox One launching in a couple of weeks, I was curious about the general impression people have about the new Kinect. Apart from the blow-up surrounding the announcement of the Xbox One and the bundled in Kinect 2.0, I haven’t really heard much else, certainly nothing positive about the Kinect leading up to the

The Gamery team continue their adventures in Monaco in Episode 3 of their playthrough. Slowly but surely they get ever so slightly better…slightly. Monaco is a game developed by Pocketwatch Games

Dishonored The Brigmore Witches DLC

Dishonored The Brigmore Witches DLC

A great ending to the most original IP of 2012 and one of my personal favourite games of all time. The Brigmore Witches is the tale of Daud looking for redemption, he can’t shake the past wrongs he has committed, and feels obliged to do some good before Corvo catches up to him. The Brigmore

Xbox One Unboxed

Xbox One Unboxed

So the new unboxing video from Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) shows exactly what will be included with the Xbox One. Interesting points include a mono headset and a 4K rated HDMI cable, but no micro-USB cable for the controller. The other stuff is pretty standard but still quite exciting to see the actual box itself. I
