Adventure Time is probably one of my favourite TV shows at the moment. That may sound weird as it’s a cartoon aimed at kids, but it has grown far beyond that and has become a cult hit with ages well above kids or teens. To further fuel the fire of the shows success the creators
Trials Frontier is an amazingly addictive and fun game though it can be extremely frustrating! One of the most completely developed mobiles games you may ever own. I first experienced a Trials game in the Xbox 360 Arcade version of Trials Evolution. The instant appeal of this game is its incredible simplicity in mechanics, but
The 50 billionth app on the iOS app store is actually a decent game, and the great thing is it’s also on Android. Designed to get you on the same wave length as the person you’re playing, ‘Say The Same Thing’ is a game about words. To begin you pick a word, any word it
QuizUp is a great trivia game that allows you to show off your considerable knowledge in just about any topic you can think of. Along the lines of the Words With Friends or Draw Something style of games, QuizUp lets you verse you friends or complete strangers from around the world in a fun and
Mobile apps are all the rage and the latest Hitman game is looking to cash in on that trend. Hitman GO is really fun and quite challenging, especially if you try to three star every level, my biggest concern is the price tag. At $4.49 it is expensive as far as iOS apps go and the fact that it is singular platform makes me think that Square Enix haven’t put as much behind this game as they probably should have.
This game is the perfect example of how simple gameplay, mechanics, sounds and graphics can make a great game. With 5 million downloads on Android in just 3 days from release this game has exploded in popularity. There is something so infuriatingly addictive about these types of games you know that the only issue is
Samurai siege is one of those games where I knew straight away that I was going to get hooked. I’m not huge into these games where you have to build up a village or farm or town ,etc. and upgrade things and spend materials. Because the aim is to build a little army to go
I have talked about the issues with on-screen controls in smartphone games before, mostly they are a huge pain. If only there was a small, great looking ,well working controller that could connect up to my phone. Oh wait now there is! Mobile Zap have released a bluetooth controller that has all these features. It
Mobile strategy has never been so good and completely immersive.
Ninja Cats Vs Samurai Dogs is an iOS only mobile game by developer heavy weights Eutechnyx. First impressions of the name may lead you down the path of a silly bash around game but let me tell you it is the exact opposite. This game is a tower defence style played over five lanes (similar feel to Plants versus Zombies). When first beginning the game, you may feel overwhelmed but with the help of numerous tutorials you are able to learn the ropes quite quickly and consequently settle into the game.
Compared to other gaming apps on the Apple App Store, this game is rather extensive and will definitely keep you busy for hours on end. Recently I have found myself downloading apps and growing tired of them within a day due to its easy gameplay or simple repetitive game mechanics. Ninja Cats vs Samurai Dogs is the opposite as it has been fleshed out enough that I will be playing for weeks (even months) to come.
A simple game and Concept that is hours of enjoyment
Maps TD is a great and simple tower defense game that gives a real sense of fighting for your home base. It is based on the Google Maps API and uses the path finder to create a surprisingly immersive game. The aim of the game is the same of any tower defense, erect towers to protect your base against an onslaught of ever-increasing foes. The twist is this game let’s you select your actual house or any address on the planet, that can be found on Google maps at least, to defend. There is actually a list of great locations to defend on the initial screen. The game is really fun though takes a little while to get used as the interface needs a bit of polish (only a minimal amount though).

Bike Race is free, simple and addictive. A triple threat of positives if you ask me.
The controls are simple to learn. Touch the left hand of the screen to brake and the right to accelerate. You need to tilt to screen to maneuver your bike to land wheels down, if you land head first for example, game over. Learning to appropriately lean your device to land jumps and land flips, is the real skill in the game.So in a nut shell, keep the bike up right and complete the map as quick as you can. The game mechanistic are simple, yet effective. The connect is basic enough, some of the puzzles can create a rewarding challenge.
You are given a ranking from 1 to 3 stars, depending on your time. Unlocking these stars will eventually unlock more exciting maps. There are currently 96 maps to unlock within the application. Not to mention 12 exciting worlds and 13 awesomely designed bikes to race with.
Yet another Zombie based game, but will this mobile app stand up against the rest?
|Developer: Italy Games|
|Release: December 2012|
Long live the zombie craze. The zombie fad is still going strong, with yet another zombie based game. Zombie smasher is an extraordinarily simple concept, which is the major driving force behinds its success. Zombie Smasher is a defense strategy game, with a fast paced playing style.
The basic game mechanics are what drives the users to spends hours and hours playing these repetitive, yet additive games. As the concept behind the game is so simplistic, the overall game mechanics are instantly recognizable to players. Giving you a run down of the overall theme or goal of the zombie smasher game, can be done with one phrase, “you smash zombies with the press of a finger”. Through the completion of incrementally more difficult levels and squashing various zombies in the process.
Galactic evolution is a lot of fun.

Solar 2 is a great game for taking up those spare moments. It lets you accomplish something on a grandiose scale on your phone without getting super worked up over it. The game is simple enough, navigate your “object” through the universe gradually absorbing things and increasing in mass until you become a black hole. Sounds simple enough, and it really is…mostly. Having just enough mechanics to keep the player invested and interested, and not so many that degrees in quantum and astro physics are needed to play, is the fine line that games must tread. Solar 2 makes that line it’s bitch. Floating through space is fairly simplistic, crashing into things doesn’t seem too hard either. It’s only when you become a slightly larger planet that you then have to collect orbiting moons, life spawning planets and watch out for attacking aliens.
The new Samsung Galaxy has been announced, but is it enough to cut into Apple’s dominance with the iPhone 5? That’s for you to decide…
iPhone 5 has had a solid market share for the smartphone industry over the last few months and Samsung are looking at changing that. Their latest phone; the Galaxy S4, has a similar look with some added features that are in place to hopefully ensnare some new market.
If you are always after the latest piece of technology and like to stay up to date with the advancement of the smart phone industry then the S4 provides a few new features that separates them from the iPhone 5 and other smart phones. However, will these features be practical?

Temple Run 2 is a popular endless running game for IOS and Android. You play a man who is attempting to escape from a giant monkey while avoiding a large array of obstacles.
