Flappy Bird

Flappy Bird

This game is the perfect example of how simple gameplay, mechanics, sounds and graphics can make a great game. With 5 million downloads on Android in just 3 days from release this game has exploded in popularity. There is something so infuriatingly addictive about these types of games you know that the only issue is how go your skill is but it’s never that cut and dry. In the same fashion as Doodle Jump, Whale Trail, Subway Surfers, etc this game hooks you into believing that if you just concentrate harder you will be able to beat your last score.

Never as simple as it seems

Flappy birds is definitely a game to play with friends, though there is no multiplayer, just for bragging rights. Because this game is so hard to get more than a score in the teens, if you out do your friends by even one point it can be an infuriating motivator. A word to the wise the hit boxes around the bird and pipes seem to be slightly larger than what is actually shown by the graphics so the trick is get good a judging where those boundaries are. All in all a great mobile game for wasting way more time than you realise when playing and for showing your friends how awesome you are.

Hitman GO

Mobile apps are all the rage and the latest Hitman game is looking to cash in on that trend.
